March 15, 2025  We’re thrilled to share that Susan Petersen, founding partner of Petersen & Petersen, made an unforgettable mark at this year’s International Society of Barristers (ISOB) Annual Meeting in Aruba. As a respected Board Member and National Co-Chair of the Membership Committee, Susan didn’t just attend—she helped lead.

With her hallmark blend of precision, poise, and creativity, Susan chaired the committee’s session on the election of candidates to the Class of 2025. It’s a powerful reminder that she doesn’t just have a seat at the table—she is helping to shape  the future of one of the most elite trial lawyer organizations.

The ISOB, known for its rigorous standards and invitation-only membership, brings together the finest trial lawyers across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Ireland, and beyond.  Susan was inducted in London in 2018—one of only a handful of women in Ohio ever selected—and has since been instrumental in expanding and diversifying its membership. Her leadership in this role reflects the same tireless advocacy and integrity that define her courtroom practice.

True to form, Susan brought her full creative force to the event by producing and directing an opening video for the conference—drawing on her background as a former television news reporter.
